The Cascade Water Alliance has recently announced that the filling of my favorite waterway has commenced. This means that when the county park opens on Monday, everyone has just a few days to walk the 44 miles of shoreline and retreive all of the lures I have lost. Happy hunting and here's to hoping your GPS has a good set of batteries for marking all of the visible structure. Shhh

Hey sub, thanks for the headsup. The fam and I ventured up here not to long ago, hauled out some trash and walked away with a decent rod and a few lures. I will be fishing here plenty in the early season but my plan is to take more trips to Lake Mayfield for tigers and bass.

Boat is at Limit Out Marine for some much needed care. Then I fish. Plus, the water is still down until around the first of May. The White River does not have enough flow to divert water as fast as expected. You can still brave the stumps if you DARE!

might have too. I think my days on the water to bass caught ratio is about 5:1 right now. Including accidental trout i'm doing better at about 2:1 though, LOL.
