The show was great, and it was nice to talk with Aaron and Mike. I zeroed in on seminars this year, CDA Chinook, Roosevelt Kokanee, and Snake River Channel Cats - I always learn something or pick up a trick or two. Can't wait to try some new water/techniques and maybe finally figure out the kokanee on Roosevelt. I also caught part of the Steelhead and Pike seminars that were going on prior to ones I was interested in, so logged about 4 hrs in seminars between Friday and Saturday.

I met some nice folks I know from the Hewescraft Owner's Forum who run a guide service in BC. They have some awesome rainbow and gerard trout fishing that we don't see down here - they're HUGE! I think we might have to make a run up just to catch some of those monsters, only 2 1/2 hours from Spokane, so it's really not much further than going to Roosevelt.

Missed Lotech and Marc this year, just the luck of the schedule I guess. I'm sure I walked right by other WA Lakes members, but no way to know. Anyway, I hope the show was a success for the WA Lakes crowd too! cheers

Phil,
Sorry I missed you. My job wouldn't allow me to be at the Friday show and I had to leave early Saturday because of a recurring chest cold. Maybe we'll tie up sometime this summer.

Thewinner of this year's Sportsman Shows Drawing (Puyallup and Spokane) was Frank A. of Loon Lake. He won a nice stove from our sponsor, Camp Chef.

Congrats and thanks to all that visited both shows this year - it was a great pleasure to meet all the current and new members of WL.com!
