We have decided to do for rivers what we have done for lakes. Starting now we plan on adding overviews and pictures for each river system listed in our database. That's a lot of rivers and we need YOUR help! If you're interested in submitting an overview and/or pictures, contact me (mike@washingtonlakes.com) or respond to this thread. I'll be coming out with an overview guideline to explain what we'd like to have in an Overview. If we get lot's of members helping out this project will go quite fast and when done we'll have a nice database of rivers in Washington. Don't be shy, we need your help! Thanks.

I have already started on the Nisqually. I would like to do the Carbon and maybe the Puyallup. It helps if we know the river. I am not familar with the Nisqually but have information from someone who is. I use to fish the Nisqually for rainbow trout along time ago. I guess cutthroat are caught now if one fishes for them. Mostly it is salmon.

Hi Toni, I have a few Carbon River pics from fall 2007. The river level was low but it was a super clear day and the pics turned out nice. I'll forward what I have when I get home. Dont be afraid to email me a reminder if I forget

Aaron has the River Editor in place so I can now start this project. I've done one for the Raging river in King county as an example of a very simple overview. As with the lake overviews, we can get as detailed as we want. For those more popular, detailed overviews we can turn them into "Featured River" articles as well. I just need members to start sending me overviews and pictures! Send them to mike@washingtonlakes.comThanks!

Are you looking for River maps also? I have some maps that I have found scattered about the internet over the years and downloaded to my computer. If so I will send them.
Have a son and you'll have a fishin partner for life.

When one does travel to a river, what should we get pictures of? I just purchased a new camera, so I am ready to point and shoot!!

At the moment, no. I've been preoccupied with some things. Hopefully I'll get to them soon. I've not forgotten and it will get done.
