Amazing. Your first tourney, I'll bet you can't wait. Let me know if someone needs a partner. Craig, where do you find the time? Doug, from nothing to your first tourney in 3 months, way to go.

Thank you! It's been a lot of work so far, and we still have a long ways to go. But it is a journey, not a race. So if we just keep on pace we will get there eventually! I just got the tournament flier and rules posted. Go to http://MountainMuskies.com for details.

The handicap will be the white spinners Craig said he was going to loan you.... He said he hasn't had any hits or follows yet on them! That's okay though. I'll loan you one of the secret weapons that have caught a few more fish than the spinners......

Hey You All, I hear you better be "on your game"! We are sending two of our very best "jet-setting" ladies over there to fish Newman with you... I hear they are renting, or borrowing, everything just as a "handicap" to give you guys a chance!!! I wish you all great success and do have a wonderful time! Their handicap is going to be they have to use 4lb test on the reels im lending them and they cant use a net lol. But honestly we cant wait to have them come over and fish with us, if it wasnt for the help of everyone at Chapter57 we wouldnt even be around right now. So because of that we will give you one extra inch added to the length of your total fish lol. good fishing everyone....

I thought you said you had that "Special" net for them.... You know, the one with a hole, and it is only big enough for those bait fish.... You know, bass, trout, perch, crappie..... KUP and PAD are going to have a blast over here. We are lucky to have them and they will be treated like Royalty! They helped us get our start, so that is the least we can do. BTW, I just made a report out with a photo of my personal best fish...... Caught a 44" x 21.5" toad today.....

Craig, Thanks!...LOL...I just saw the picture of Doug's 44 X 21.5...25.42 lbs...that he caught today...nice fish!!! I hope you all have a great time! I wish I could make it, but we are sending the "Jet Setting" ladies over to represent us! I hear they are going to try some new "secret" tactics...you better watch them closely...LOL... I sure am going to miss those homemade pies!!!! You are having pies aren't you? I guess I will have to try to hold on until the Curlew 24 hr. Esoxaganzza!!!! this September...I hope I make it that long! Maybe if Buddy knew we were having pies he would stay in Washington? Oh well, we wish him all the luck in the world no matter where he goes! He could do wonders for the Colorado Tiger Muskie Program...maybe even become President of the Colorado Chapter of Muskies, Inc. someday...who knows...stranger things have happened! I hope you have a great tourney...take lots of pictures! >----):< "A good gamefish is too valuable, to be caught only once." Pretty funny, Doug & Craig. We will take all the help we can get, but don't treat us like royalty, that would scare the fish, A few pointers for the lake would be good enough; neither of us have been on it before. Looking forward to the trip and the fishing, no matter the weather. I don't even know what 4 lb LOOKS like, .....
