If that's the little wireless guy you cast out then....... One of my buddies has one and it's a neat toy but pretty useless as when you cast it out it scares all the fish for about 50 yrds. I tied it on my float tube and it worked pretty good for a bw display with fish characters where blips were.

PS I kept getting the wooly eye from other fishermen in the area, they thought I was using two rods till they came over and saw what was going on. To be fair when I cast it out I just used it to find the drop off, then just let it sit there. It did work for that.

Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

Send off a PM to iPodrodder. He got one for Christmas a year or two ago.

As for the boats, the collapsible boats have been around for many years. In talking with the guys who have them out on the lakes, they seem to like them.

I have a Smartcast RF35 it gives the temperature and depth. It shows some bottom contour. All the fish appear to be on the bottom. They are not.
A bad day of fishing, is better then a good day at work !!!!!!!

I have a 12' portabote, love it. Only drag is the time it takes to set it up and break it down. But everything else about it makes it a big win for me.
==urban== please don't tell me to C&R or to fish your way, thank you
