Fished new water yesterday with Clark. Put the swimbait to good use and was rewarded with a nice mixed bag.

All 5 fish. Can barely see one

Not a monster but a solid 4lb

Spent last week over at Banks and Potholes. Swimbait bite was on at Banks. Put close to 100 green in the boat in 3 days. Potholes was another story..3 fish in 3 days. First time I spent an entire week in June in eastern Wa in my rain gear, only had shorts on for about 3 hours one morning.

Then went up north yesterday and caught an astonishing 53 smallies over 2lbs

I wish I was consistent like you guys. When I get anything over 2lbs now, I'm stoked, lol.


Even though it wasn't "chunky", it had a big belly. At least 1 crawdad in there. Saw one of the pinchers go down it's throat when I was trying to take a pic of it. All the other bass I've caught out of Sammamish have been skinny. This was a nice surpise.

Not bad holding the camera, fighting the fish and netting it myself eh.
