I fished Long lake with local bass angler Bob Johansen in the spring of 2007. It was a beautiful spring day. Bob put on a bass angling clinic and brought in all the fish, including an impressive 2.4 lb black crappie. And that was after I told him to take a submerged log - I think that was my fish! In any case, Long is a great bass lake but does tend to weed up as the summer progresses.
