American Lake Bass Fishing 2011
I got to fish with fishing buddy Bob Johansen July 11, 2011. The fishing wasn't great but the friendship as always, was. Check out American lake - it has a great bass fishery, as well as being one of the better kokanee lakes in Washington.

Whatcom Lake Bassin 2011
Lake Whatcom is an under-utilized bass lake located in northwest Washington, in the city of Bellingham. I got to fish it with Big Bass Dez and Tyler Walker in Tyler's 21 foot Phoenix bass boat - what a ride! The fishing was pretty good. We didn't catch any lunkers but did catch fish consistantly. Check out the end of the video as Dez and Tyler tag team a couple smallmouth bass on a bed. Filmed July 16, 2011.

Pend Oreille Pike Fishing
The Pend OReille river is a tributary to the Columbia river. It is a mixed species river, with trout bass, panfish, and pike. The river level fluctuates and is controlled by the Box Canyon dam. Of note, the Pend OReille has been in the spotlight for it's pike population, seen by many anglers as a great sportfish, but seen by the WDFW as an invasive species which needs to be greatly reduced. Netting policies have caused for strained relations between WDFW and many sport anglers.

Ohop Lake in Pierce County
Ohop Lake, Pierce County: 235 acres, 2 1/4 miles long. This lake is next door to Clear lake about 1 1/2 miles north of Eatonville off Hwy 161. It holds a variety of spiny ray including bass, crappie and perch. It also holds rainbows and cutthroat. This is a semi-developed lake with lots of trees on the surrounding hillsides. There is a concrete public ramp of excellent quality (no pier) and could handle boats to 20 foot easily. Ample parking. The shoreline of this lake looks like it was made for bass and crappie fishing with lots of cover and lilly pads to cast to. I shot this video in 2010.
