Well, went back over to the I82 ponds to try for some crappie. It was slow slow slow for crappie caught lots of small bass though. Fished from 3:00 to dark, tried jigs of all colors and sizes, finally at about 7:30 I put on a small lipless crank bait and hit some crappie landed 4 lost a few more at the bank. All in all it was fun caught a few fish but had to work for the crappie. Good luck guys, God Bless.

Jason Sappenfield and and I fished I 82 pond 5 recently but high water on the Yakima River muddied up the water there so we hit pond #4 for perch. Fishing with my custom 1.5" Crappie nymphs in wateremlon/chart tail 1/32 oz. jigs, we put 15 fish on the bank in just a short time. Perch fishing has been good for several weeks now and My custom jigs have been getting it done for big pan fish so far this spring. Feel free to email Jiggy @ dobebrdeluxe@yahoo.com in regard of some hot spot crappie and panfish info and what jigs have been working for me and so many others.

Got a chance to hit the Highway ponds with Gordy Chin for crappie. Gordy is hell of a bobber fisherman and we launched his aluminum car topper and searched for early spring slabs. I was itching to field test my newest panfish nymph called a 1.5" Baby Damzel Crappie Nymph and once I figured out their depth it was bobber down fishing along an out side weed edge in 12 feet of water. Gordy hit some nice 9 inch plus slabs as well but oddly we didn't catch a single trout. We ended up with some great crappie for the pan and I hope to get back after them again this weekend with my good buddy Pacbassman from Yakima. Anyone interested in checking out my custom crappie, bass, trout and walleye baits feel free to friend Jigmiester Custom Lure's on Facebook or email me at dobberdeluxe@yahoo.com

Gordy and I got were able to get out and put some on the stringer. Fish'd from 10 am-1:30pm with it slacking off around noon. We really had to work hard casting in all directions as they were found in every direction putting 23 on the stringer with many smaller put back for next year. spinner blade with white jig being the main color used. We,re looking forward to catching those big whitefish soon and some ice fishing on the area ponds.

Gordy and I hit one of the ponds and with a little bit of finesse we were able to put 9 on the stringer that went 101/4" using a white jigs that caught most of them.

Gordy and I hit one of the I-82 ponds this morning to see if we could entice some crappie after the warm spell. We really worked hard to put 7 crappie/ 2 bass/ and 1 perch, on the string with a few smaller ones CR'd for next year. We threw a lot of different stuff at them and they were not feeling like chasing our offerings. The dawg days of summer are here and the fishing can be tricky.

Gordy and I Hit one of the ponds off off I-82 Where we were able to fill (2) stringers with 9 1/2"- 10 1/2"ers with a few bass. Fish from 6:30 am-1;00 pm. Had several doubles and released many slightly smaller with some biggies that broke off. We were using 1 1/2" twister grubs in motor oil color. Most were caught on the drop. One of the better days we've had.
