My daughter Carrie and I had the priviledge of ridin along with Blufin Loui one again. As always it was an awesome time. He knows how to have fun. My daughter loves going for that long ride and when catching fish most of the time it is even better. Tackle used was primarily jigs of different sorts and Louis black Roostertail. My hot colors were a red and pink combo color jigs I made(thanks to Loui for settin me up with the stuff to learn to tie with) and a red and chartreuse maribou jig. Loui's where assorted styles and colors. Also a spinner ig trown out the back had a couple fish on too. Funny thing is whe the sun would peek out from behind a cloud the fish would "warm" up to the bite. The largest kept for the dy was a nice 6 pounder Carrie caught and from there ranged down to 3ih pounds for us all to have fish for the freezer. I would like this time to thank Loui and his wife Cindy for all they have done for us this past year an beyond. It was a tough year for my daughter and I personally with losing my wife this summer. I am thankful for good friends. Merry Christmas to all of you.

Happy Holidays to you two. Carrie is quite the "Sportsgal". At 15* when we launched I figured she might want a short fishing trip but when I told her the day was hers, and asked where she wanted to fish, she said "The Pens" without hesitation. The temp did warm up, but there were enough cold fingers to go around, but no complaints. Thanks for sharing yet another great day on the Mighty Rufus Woods with me, andtell her next time out I will be giving her a run for the biggest fish as I'm goung to have to develope a "secret weapon". LOL

Wow, sorry to hear of your loss, this is probably a tough time of the year for both of you. Having met, and fished with, Lewis and Cindy it comes as no surprise that they have been there to help you both through it. Thank you Lewis and Cindy!!!

Great report and great times indeed. You've got one tough angler there to weather those kind of temps and spend a day on the water. I can't think of a better way to spend the day, good friends, good fishing = great memories! Kudos to all. :-)
