Tried 3 oz and 50 pulls which is alot of line out. Opted for the downrigger which I am not good at nor care for. Used large cowbell on downrigger for flasher and had small ford fender on main line with wedding ring. Clip was set 5 feet above ball and did 6 pulls before attaching line to clip. Had lots of hit just not many hookups. Downrigger set at 55 ft and then about 57 ft. Caught 3 fish measuring 14 inches and fat. Lost about 3 at the boat.

a guy told me yesterday of a thing called a rubber stubber or some thing like that ? do you have any idea what it is? He said it will increase my kokanee catch dramatically.

Keeping hooks sharp will help with hookups, even new hooks sometimes need touching up, and a couple of fish can take the point down a little, too.Haven't needed the snubbers, just keep your drag light, use limber rods, and don't pump and reel, just reel constantly and try a long handled net for those thrashers by the boat. Tight lines, Bob R
