A good time had by all. I was concerned that my son was loosing interest in fishing. The last few times out has not been very productive. This day was a game changer. Hopefully, we can put a few days like this together. We caught 14 fish including perch, bass and a trout. Fun stuff.

Mostly fished the central portion around the lily pads and the southern portion around the boat docks. I was mainly targeting bass using Rapala - shad color or bass pattern and drop shot with watermelon colored 5" Yamamoto worm (caught a 3 #er with worm). My son was mainly using a rainbow pattern Rapala. We trolled the Rapala's when moving to new locations. Caught a majority of perch while trolling.
