5 may be misleading but I had a great day!! Spent two hours on the East fork today from Daybreak down wading and fishing. Used a size 2 mepps blue fox spinner with a single barbless hook looking for steelies but all I found was smolt.... lots and lots of smolt. The biggest was about 14 inches and the smallest was about 5 inches. Lots of aggressive little guys in the water and was having a blast, did not touch any of the fish, just reeled them in and let them go and continued to look for the bigger fish. Still have yet to get a keeper steelie but I think this may be my year!! Have fun out there and good luck!
