We got to Benson at around 6:30 in the evening and were left at 8:00. Both of us did fairly well on the little ones ( most of the fish there range from 8"-10" )they were biting on anise marshmallows with ether orange powerbait or pink power eggs underneath. My buddy did out fish me though (no it's ok it was his fist time there) bye catching a nice 3#er. Really pretty fish , and not a bad day 2 limits and one 3#er,God think what it would have been like if we would have brought the boat! Yep you got it, all this from the shore at the boat-launch. Overall my friend was pretty pleased with the lake. Next time he said we are going to have to take the boat. SEE YA ON THE WATER CEC.
