ANTILON
Chelan County’s Antilon Lake is located about 5 miles north of the town of Manson and lies at an elevation of 2327 feet. The lake lies just east of Fourth of July Mountain. It was originally a small natural lake until a dam was built in 1913 creating Antilon Reservoir. Another dam was built in 1928 and created “Long Jim Reservoir.” The latter name shows on my Gazetteer Map. At full pool it covers about 110 surface acres and reaches depths of about 60 feet. Fish species include Rainbow and Brown Trout, Crappie and Sunfish. Camping facilities are available at nearby Wapato Lake.
